About The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
The Cadillac CT5 is a reasonably quick midsize sedan in its standard form. Upgrade to the CT5-V, and it turns into a proper sport sedan, with a much more powerful engine and improved handling. What’s New for 2026
Cadillac made the performance data recorder and Blind Zone Steering Assist standard equipment for 2026, but the much bigger news is the launch of the Crated by Cadillac program, which is currently available exclusively for the CT5-V Blackwing. This program allows you access to the kind of options previously only available for the CELESTIQ flagship model, things like more than 160 new paint colors and a greatly expanded range of interior materials and colors. These exclusive features are done by hand as well, to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Uncompromising Performance
At the heart of the CT5-V Blackwing is the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine under the hood. The engine produces 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, enough to get you from 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, although a 10-speed automatic is available as well. There is an electronic limited-slip rear differential with a differential cooler to keep everything working as it should when pushing the car hard. There is high-performance suspension, complete with Magnetic Ride Control and Performance Traction Management. Stopping happens quickly too, thanks to the Brembo® high-performance brakes with six-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers, as well as heat-resistant liners. All of this adds up to a super sedan of the highest order.
Refined Interior
If going fast was your only concern, you’d buy a Corvette. The whole point of the CT5-V Blackwing is that it blends that fire-breathing performance with a spacious and well-appointed interior. The CT5-V Blackwing features seating for five, with 42.4 inches of front legroom and 37 inches of rear legroom, as well as a generous 11.9 cubic feet of trunk space. The 18-way power-adjustable front seats are heated and ventilated, and the steering wheel is heated as well. And while the engine makes some truly glorious sounds, when you want to listen to some music, the 16-speaker AKG™ Premium audio system delivers audiophile-grade fidelity. The Blackwing even comes with a wireless phone charger and three USB ports.
Advanced Technology
Every aspect of the Blackwing is enhanced through the use of advanced technology, from the driving modes that let you tailor driving dynamics to the situation to the HD Surround Vision that makes parking easier. Much of this is controlled via the 33-inch LED display that combines the digital gauge cluster with the infotainment touchscreen into one continuous screen. This display works wirelessly with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and there is a standard head-up display so you can see vital information without taking your eyes off the road. There is even a performance data and video recorder, so you can review track day performance and make adjustments. There is a full suite of advanced safety technology too, including Traffic Sign Recognition and Rear Pedestrian Alert to help you keep an eye out for important things in your surroundings. The CT5-V Blackwing is even a performance car that’s safe to let your child drive, thanks to a special Teen Driver key fob that activates a special restricted mode.
